In the beginning...
In my first years as a graphic designer, I learned very quickly that the field was dominated by one demographic with little upward mobility available to certain communities. Now, as a teacher, I seek to educate talented youth, with a focus on young womxn, teens of color, and LGBTQ+ students. My hope is that these students will go out into the field of graphic design and shake up the environment for the better.
