Get to know some of the projects in Harris’ graphic design/digital art CTE curriculum with tons of student samples, hand examples, and tricks of the trade. This presentation has been given at three different NAEA conferences and has been so well attended in the past that participants had to sit both on the floor and out into the hallway.

Co-led by Harris and their colleague Erin Nutsugah, the two artists lead educators in a workshop meant to show how to bring creativity and literacy to their classes by creating indie publications with their students, better known as zines.

As a nonbinary teacher and the sponsor of a local GSA chapter, I believe students deserve an accepting space to be themselves. Plan a talk with me surrounding queer inclusivity in the classroom or workplace.
